The Rocky River-Lakewood Kitchen of West Shore Meals On Wheels is asking for your generous support of our one-day 'Giving Tuesday' Food Drive. Food costs have increased significantly in the past year, even as we have been serving more people who find it difficult to secure their own nutritious food. Our budget is straining under the pressure. That’s where you can help! We’re asking you to donate non-perishable foods and supplies that we use all the time to prepare meals our grateful recipients can’t wait to eat. Want to pitch in? Then mark your calendar for November 30 to drop off your donations at our kitchen, located at the back door of Good Soil Lutheran Ministries, 20300 Hilliard Blvd., Rocky River.

Tuesday, November 30
8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Plastic bins will be waiting outside to receive your donations — just drive up and place your item(s) in the bins. Our volunteers will clear the bins periodically.
We also welcome gift cards to GFS, Marcs, Aldi, and Giant Eagle. Grocery gift cards directly supplement our kitchen’s food costs. If bringing a gift card to our food drive, please ring our doorbell or call the kitchen upon arrival — (440) 333-6298 — so a volunteer can retrieve the card immediately.
