Class with Emil Girod, a fundraiser in support of our Rocky River-Lakewood Kitchen.
Known affectionately as "Doctor Dirt," Emil Girod is a master gardener who volunteers with us and supplies our kitchen with his organic produce throughout the growing season. He will be conducting an Autumn gardening class at 7:00-8:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at our facility: 20300 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky River (rear door of Good Soil Ministries).
The cost per participant is $25. To join the class, please sign up by Monday, November 28, by contacting Kathy Blackwell at (440) 333-6298 or at email RRLWcoordinator@westshoremow.org.
Class topics will include the importance of soil, how to build good soil, selecting and ordering seeds, and starting seeds at home. We hope to conduct a new class for each season, as interest permits.
